In short, they guarantee that they have the lowest price. If you book

For hotels, it only has to be lower even once cent is enough to file a claim.
First, book your room through Expedia (please be sure to use our link). Then
call 1-800-EXPEDIA (1-800-397-3342). And tell them you have found a lower
rate and would like their Best Rate Guarantee. They will ask for your
confirmation number and where you found the lower rate (in most cases you should
tell them you found it at Kayak.com, assuming that is the link the BRG Lead
Generator located for you.). They will then go to that site and verify
that the rate is indeed lower and that the room descriptions are the same. They
will keep you on hold while they do this so just be patient and call when you
have time to hold, it takes a while. When they approve your claim, they
will adjust your rate to the new price and issue the $50 coupon to your Expedia
account. The coupon must be used within one year. See full coupon
terms here:

YES! Just remember to make each in a separate transaction and file a separate
claim (with separate phone calls/reservation numbers). Here is an example
of how you can use the Expedia BRG to its fullest potential on a multi-night
stay:
1. Use DealSnare.com to find a BRG opportunity, for our example we'll say we
found The Comfort Inn in Miami, FL for $55/night at Expedia and $49.99 at
Kayak.com. We want to stay a total of four nights (Sunday-Wednesday).
2. Book Sunday night at Expedia for $55.
3. Call and file a BRG Claim for Sunday Night they will lower the price to
$49.99 and issue you a Coupon for $50 off a future purchase.
4. After we have the coupon, book Monday Night at $55, use the coupon to make
it only $5 out of pocket.
5. Call and get another coupon for Monday (they will not match the price this
time since you used a coupon).
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the remaining nights
In the end we will have paid a total of $65 + taxes for 4 nights in Miami and
still have a $50 coupon to use later!
Please note that you can only redeem three coupons per month.
It is for any hotel that you can find a lower rate for, from Econo-Lodge to
The Grand Hyatt.
..except one says "Standard" and the other says "Deluxe" - Sorry this is not
a match. It doesn't matter if all the rooms in the hotel are the same, if one
description says "standard" the other deluxe. Expedia will not honor that,
nor should they.
The same goes for "upstairs room" vs. no designation of floor. The
descriptions must match.
